The Brain Injured Children Trust provide practical, financial, social and emotional support to families who have a child affected by brain injury and severe developmental delays.
The Pedal & Spokes Cycle ride is our annual fundraising event to raise awareness and much needed fundraising to enhance the quality of life for brain injured children. In our first inaugural event was a huge success raising $6669.11 of financial assistance for therapy & treatment for children with disabilities that need specific resources, medical or physical needs that are not covered by any other financial assistance here in New Zealand. 2021 promises to be bigger and better!
Your fundraising dollars are literally going to help kids learn to walk and talk. On behalf of all the families who will benefit from last year’s event we extend our heartfelt gratitude – thank you.
A fun easy cycling event taking in some of Tauranga’s best scenic spots, exploring the new valley Kopurererua cycle track through bush and alongside waterways.
This annual event is aimed at families with plenty of Fun stops and crazy challenges for you to have a go at along the way.
The objective of the day is to have lots of FUN while fundraising for children with a brain injury.

The trail takes in dedicated cycle routes and is accessible for all bikes, trailers, adapted bikes and E bikes with plenty of volunteers positioned along the way to help where needed.
A full lunch is provided in the vibrant Historical Village where we are greeted and entertained by some of the Trek voleenteers with their bright colourful trucks.
This family of Trekkers have come alongside to help us fundraise for The Brain Injured Children Trust and promises lots of laughs and fun.
Come dressed up bright and colourful to be in to win prizes and above all bring your smiles!
