1. What has the Trust funded for your child?

2. How has this helped your child?
This funding has ensured that Patrick has been able to receive consistent therapy, due to ongoing consultation with Ian Hunter occurring. Patrick has full range of movement due to him starting Neuro-developmental Therapy from 6 months of age and regular physiotherapy to monitor any potential stiffness, to cause contractures. We have been supported in taking a proactive approach to his health by him attending regular homeopath visits.
3. How has the Neuro developmental Therapy helped your child?
Patrick’s head and trunk control is slowly getting better, his vision has improved, his sitting position has improved and he has full range of movement, which for a child of his physical challenges, is all really great progress.
4. How has all of the above helped your family as a whole?
It is not just the funding that has helped our family. The moral support from all trust members has been absolutely fantastic. The best thing is that all of the trust members have complete understanding of the challenge’s we families face. This is because they either have children that have done the neuro-developmental therapy, have been a volunteer for the therapy or are a family with kids that are doing it. What fantastic advocates for us!
